The price for a translation from Spanish, Portuguese or English into German is calculated per word counted in the source text.
Translations from Spanish, Portuguese or English into German can be done without proofreading if desired. However, I recommend, especially for texts that are to be published, to opt for the entire package including proofreading.
Translations from German into the foreign language always include editing or proofreading by a native speaker (see 4-eyes principle) as part of the package.
Editing and proofreading are charged at an hourly rate.
Both editing and proofreading will only be carried out in my mother tongue German.
Simple proofreading exclusively focusses on spelling, punctuation, typos and grammatical errors.
Editing additionally includes the verification of writing style, consistency, logic and coherence of the content. In the case of a translation, your text is also compared accurately against the source text.
